MAX-Box: new prevention tool to empower children and teens
The MAX-Box is an educational and collaborative game centred around the concept of a trusted person, designed for young people aged 9 to 12 in an extracurricular setting, such as youth movements or sports clubs. The game aims to strengthen young people’s resilience and make it easier for them to seek help from an adult they can trust when faced with difficult situations. This way, young people are better prepared to face challenges and understand that they are not alone, which is an essential aspect of their emotional development.
CIS Digital Camp 2025: empowering young people for a safer and more aware digital future
These three-day camps bring together secondary and vocational school students aged 15 to 18 from across Portugal and are held in different regions of the country. The CIS Digital Camp follows a dynamic and participatory methodology: workshops, debates, simulations, and creative challenges combine to promote digital citizenship based on ethics, empathy and critical thinking.
Betternet Lab: the online lives of LGBTIQ youth
* LGBTIQ people are people who are attracted to others of their own gender (lesbian, gay) or any gender (bisexual); whose gender identity and/or expression does not correspond to the sex they were assigned at birth (trans, non-binary); who are born with sex characteristics that do not fit the typical definition of male or female (intersex); and whose identity does not fit into a binary classification of sexuality and/or gender (queer).
“Your safe place”: a platform to support children and adolescents
Right from the beginning, "Your safe space” speaks directly to children, asking: “Did you see something strange, frightening, or bad on your phone, computer, or in a game? Did someone send you something confusing or upsetting?” It then reassures them that they are not alone; SafeLine is there to listen, to help, and to protect them.
