Point de Contact launches a compilation of comic strips dealing with various types of illegal content and situations online, such as : incest and dissemination of child sexual exploitation material, child grooming activities, sextortion activities, dissemination of non-consensual content involving minors or “revenge porn”, hate speech and apology for acts of terrorism.

We have created a decision tree for young people on online challenges. The decision tree helps young people assess whether the challenge is safe and reasonable to do.
The decision tree is available online as a PDF and can be easily downloaded for free. We have also included this resource in the SID 2022 online package for schools.

The decision tree is available online as a PDF and can be easily downloaded for free. We have also included this resource in the SID 2022 online package for schools. The text (at the moment only available in Slovenian) needs to be adapted to local languages.

With this quiz, we want to check if young people have the knowledge on how to manage their online reputation and that of others. Each question is also followed by a detailed explanation of the correct answer. The quiz is distributed through the Safe.si website and through social networks such as Facebook and Instagram. We have also included this resource in the SID 2022 online package for schools.

Online friendship or abuse? Innocent questions or attempted grooming?
A self-help test at sos.drossinternets.lv helps to recognize grooming on the internet. Children and young people, as well as parents and educators are invited to fill out the self-help test developed by experts from the Latvian Safer Internet Centre, the State Police and State Inspectorate for the Protection of Children's rights to test how safe the online friendship is, to learn how to recognize grooming cases and where to seek for a help.
