In an effort to make its resources for the general public ever more accessible, the French hotline Point de Contact is launching, in December 2022, its new prevention and awareness campaign in the form of short videos.
Based on a series of comic strips introduced in 2021, these clips retrace the journey of several protagonists who, in turn, are confronted with situations in which they are subjected to sexual violence against minors. The points of view of the victims and witnesses of this violence are successively presented in order to raise awareness among all those who can work to put an end to these situations of sexual abuse.
To introduce this new format, Point de Contact selected the profiles of Léa, Max, Manon and Jules, respectively victims of grooming, incest, threats of non-consensual diffusion of intimate content and sextortion, and published them on its usual diffusion networks (Twitter, Instagram, Youtube...). It appeared essential for Point de Contact to rely on video media because of their enhanced accessibility (text, image and sound). The hotline hopes to reach an ever-growing audience and thus consolidate its contribution to the protection of minors on the Internet.
