Swedish Safer Internet Centre

About the organisation

Sweden's Safer Internet Centre, SIC Sweden, is operated by the government agency Statens medieråd (the Swedish Media Council) together with the NGOs Bris (helpline) and ECPAT Sweden (hotline).

Spanish Safer Internet Centre

About the organisation

The Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) is the reference entity to drive a better Internet for minors in Spain, and it works within the framework of the European Union's BIK strategy. INCIBE manages Internet Segura for Kids, the Spanish Safer Internet Centre (SIC) that takes part in the Insafe and INHOPE networks, and also operates SIC services to promote a safer and better use of the internet and mobile technologies among children and young people: an awareness-raising centre, a helpline, a youth participation initiative, a hotline, and the organisation of the Safer Internet Day (SID).

Romanian Safer Internet Centre

About the organisation

Save the Children Romania is a national non-governmental organisation, established in 1990, with the purpose of promoting, defending and monitoring children's rights in Romania, in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Since 2008, Save the Children Romania has been implementing the safer internet project and is currently coordinating all three components of the programme.

The Portuguese Safer Internet Centre exists to promote a safer and better use of the internet and mobile technologies among children and young people.

Polish Safer Internet Centre

About the organisation

The Polish Safer Internet Centre (SIC) is run by the consortium consisting of national research institute NASK (the project coordinator) and Empowering Children Foundation. The main aim of the Polish SIC is to promote safe and creative use of new technologies among children and young people, to combat illegal content online, and to help young internet users, parents and professionals in cases of threats related to the use of the internet and mobile phones.

Norwegian Safer Internet Centre

About the organisation

The Norwegian Media Authority is the national coordinator of the Norwegian Safer Internet Centre (SIC). Along with the helpline, Cross My Heart, the SIC aims to ensure children and young people have a safe digital life. The Norwegian SIC's network consists of more than 30 collaborating partners from ministries, non-profit and voluntary organisations, businesses and industry organisations - all working for the same goal.

Maltese Safer Internet Centre

About the organisation

The primary objective of BeSmartOnline is to educate children, teenagers, parents, and educators on the safer use of the Internet, with the aim of empowering and protecting them from the various online risks such as cyberbullying, grooming, and non-consensual sharing of intimate images (sexting). The project also promotes a balanced use of technology to prevent excessive use. By advocating responsible and safe internet use, BeSmartOnline is committed to making the internet a safer place for everyone.

Luxembourgish Safer Internet Centre

BEE SECURE is a governmental initiative of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, operated by the Service national de la jeunesse (SNJ) and the KJT, in partnership with Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity (LHC), the Luxembourg Police and the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
