About the organisation

Safer Internet Centre Croatia exists to promote a safer and more responsible use of the internet and mobile technologies among children and young people. The primary goal is to enhance internet safety and digital literacy for children and youth, with a strong focus on protecting their rights in the digital age and improving online safety across Croatia. We provide help and education about Internet use to children, young people, parents, teachers, and others interested in this important topic. Our services include a free and anonymous Helpline, a Hotline form for reporting inappropriate content, and live counselling at our offices. We also conduct activities across Croatia, raising awareness and educating the public on internet safety. In collaboration with our partners, we implement programs such as the Gen Z Academy, School for Responsible Influencing, Web Detectives, and are developing innovative tools to more effectively address the issue of children's safety online.
