Better Internet for Kids

A wide range of Slovak schools celebrated the Safer Internet Day via the call, issued by the Safer Internet Centre, in which they were asked to respond to questions concerning the motto Together in the online world.  

The responses to the call suggest that spending time online together is an important prerequisite for child safety online, and for higher-quality time. Of course, the emphasis is put on creating ample opportunities for quality offline time together.  

In addition, the Slovak Safer Internet Centre organised three other initiatives:  

• a conference for experts titled “Child safety in the digital environment”,
• a conference for children and adults “digiSapiens”,  
• a contest “digiPeers”.
