Safer Internet Day in Slovakia has again focused on encouraging schools to respond creatively to two questions: What are your feelings when online? How can you balance your online experience so that you benefit from it?
We have been pleased with nearly 170 schools participating in the call and organising safer internet-related discussions and creative lessons. Almost 5,700 students took part and sent us their creations. Now, it is our job to pick some of them and visit the students. Of course, nobody will be left without prizes: every school will receive a certificate, a sticker with the Safer Internet Day motto, and several educational posters. We are already looking forward to visiting some of the schools in the upcoming months!
Additionally, there were two conferences during Safer Internet month: one for academia and experts, and the other for youth and professionals. We are happy that our traditional events continue to attract many and provide much inspiration and enthusiasm for the whole of 2025!
