The Safer Internet Centre proposed a hybrid edition of Safer Internet Day for this year, organising a live event followed by schools also streaming the event. A communication campaign was launched alongside the release of the third season of the We Are Fearless web series videos, giving all schools in the area the opportunity to interact and promote their events through the Generazioni Connesse website.
The event took place at the 'Ambra Jovinelli' theatre in Rome, from 10:00 to 12:30, with the presence of over 500 students already identified within the educational institutions involved in the project. The meeting was live-streamed to allow all school institutions nationwide to participate remotely.
The young people involved discussed four macro topics: the Digital Services Act, privacy, online violence, and artificial intelligence. The involvement of the Youth Panel, the Safer Internet Centre's Youth Advisory Group, and the presence of authoritative guests opened up and deepened the discussion on these issues.

The success of the event organised by Generazioni Connesse at the Ambra Jovinelli was greatly enhanced by the participation of the young members of the Youth Panel. They actively contributed to the debate on the discussed topics, engaging in an open exchange with institutional representatives from the Postal Police, the Privacy Authority, AGCOM, and ACN.
The topics discussed during the SID event were covered and re-launched through the social channels of Generazioni Connesse and the Consortium members, with the release of four trailers of the We Are Fearless web series throughout the entire month dedicated to online safety. The communication campaign scheduled the release of one video per week, providing thematic in-depth analyses tailored to each target audience.
Additionally, the Safer Internet Centre, in conjunction with SID, launched the related information campaign Internet Safety Month. Within the same SID 2025 section, a dedicated form allowed educational institutions to submit their relevant activities, which took place from 6th February to 29th February 2024.
The Generazioni Connesse website featured a specific section dedicated to SID 2025, where events organised by members of the Advisory Board and schools across the country were highlighted.
