The new TOZI app supports safer and kinder online experiences by offering tools, guidance, and expert help to navigate harassment, cyberbullying, and overall online wellbeing for young people.
A new app for supporting youth online
TOZI is here! A new mobile application that offers content to raise awareness and empower young people to face situations of harassment and cyberbullying. It was developed by the Vodafone Foundation and the Anti-Bullying Centre of the University of Dublin, Ireland, and has the institutional support of INCIBE (Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute). It is available in Spain, Ireland and Portugal.
TOZI provides young people with a space with tools and resources to stay safe, understand their emotions, and improve their online well-being; especially with the rise of harassment and cyberbullying among young people, a growing concern.
What does the app offer?
The app contains 3 main features:
- The Cosmos: access articles, podcasts, and videos on security, privacy, and online wellbeing.
- My Space: a private area to record feelings, use guided journals, and read inspirational quotes.
- Helpline: chat or speak on the telephone with an expert from INCIBE's “Tu Ayuda en Ciberseguridad 017” (Your Cybersecurity Help 017) to receive advice or assistance. 4. This application can be downloaded free of charge from both App Store and Google Play Store. You can find more about the app at: https://fundacionvodafone.es/tozi-fundacion-vodafone/
