In addition, different activities and workshops were on offer to put knowledge into practice and increase the skills of all participants. From inspirational talks to promote positive content for minors browsing the internet, to a panel discussion involving young people on key aspects of security and digital rights, this event provided a platform for them to express their ideas and points of view.

Around 60,000 students from more than 3,000 classrooms throughout Spain participated in the 2024 edition of Safer Internet Day. Three interactive online workshops aimed at different age ranges were taught in collaboration with the National Institute for Educational Technologies and Teacher Training (INTEF). The aim was to promote minors' safe and responsible use of the internet through practical activities and games. Within those activities, topics addressed covered respect and responsibility on the internet, secure device configurations, and protection against viruses and fraud.
On the same day, following the previous year's success, the winners of the second edition of the What is 017 for you? contest were announced. This contest relates to a free and confidential service that INCIBE offers citizens to inquire about cybersecurity questions that may arise in their daily lives.

Finally, and as one of this year's novelties, from February 6 to 11, 2024, the #ExperienciaINCIBE roadshow - a deployable truck that travels throughout Spain to train all citizens in cybersecurity matters (from families and minors to the senior public)- was available in Madrid.
