Every activity, every discussion, every project carried out by teachers is important and useful.
Unboxing Tech Toolkit
The Unboxing Tech Toolkit helps students to better understand their smartphone, its design and their own usage behaviour. It teaches them how smartphones and apps work and which mechanisms encourage them to use the applications for longer. It offers a compact summary on the topic of dark patterns, persuasive design, etc., whereby individual pages can also be picked out and used for teaching purposes.
The toolkit was developed by the Pranava Institute in collaboration with Tactical Tech and translated and adapted for German-speaking countries by Saferinternet.at.

CyberSquad
CyberSquad forum is a peer-to-peer online platform, for teenagers (13-16 yo) to exchange tips, experience, doubts and give each other support in case of a problem or need. When in trouble, young people prefer to seek help from their peers rather than turning to an adult figure, and only at a later stage they would contact a support organization. As a response to teenagers’ needs, Child Focus and young people co-developed a safe online space where to exchange with peers, share experiences and seek help.
