Building a network of non-formal education structures through the Ambassador's Programme

Faced with the scale of the task of raising awareness in a territory as vast as France, we realised we could maximise our actions by engaging our ecosystem. Indeed, as our daily mission is to create and provide free, accessible awareness-raising material available to all, we decided to create a special Ambassador Programme that our partners from the non-formal education world could easily join.

What does the Ambassador Programme offer?

The individuals involved in this initiative play a crucial role in the success of any strategy aimed at raising awareness. They engage with children during their free time, offering academic support and organising and participating in recreational activities.  While they are not experts in media literacy, they possess pedagogical skills.  As part of the Internet Sans Crainte's Ambassadors Programme, individuals are trained with our materials to align with our key messages and vision. They also participate in a Q&A video session to share ideas, good practices and feedback. We ensure they stay informed about our new resources and strive to provide them with the best guidance possible.

Find more information about the work of the French Safer Internet Centre, including their awareness raising, helpline, hotline and youth participation services – or find similar information for other Safer Internet Centres throughout Europe.
