Helpline contest 'What does 017 Helpline means for you?'
This initiative was designed for the schools and encouraged pupils to record short videos representing problems they may encounter while using the Internet or other technologies. They also had to display how they think the 017 Helpline can help them to prevent or to resolve those problems.
Thanks to the contest the kids contacted the 017 Helpline and learnt about the service and the way it works. This is seen as a really positive outcome as children are more likely to trust the 017 Helpline and contact the service if they encounter any problems in the future.

The quiz on digital games is a good opportunity for everyone to test their knowledge in the field of gaming. Due to the ease of use and the explanations after solving the quiz, it is also suitable for younger children under the age of 12 and can be played together with parents or in class, for example. The technical structure of our quizzes is based on the content management system Typo3 and could easily be integrated into other websites based on the same CMS.
Board Game Kit Enhancing Media Literacy and Digital Skills Among Children in Latvia
Latvian SIC has developed a board game kit for enhancing media literacy and digital skills among children and youth.
The resource is designed as a set of six games. Game instructions and digital versions of the playing cards of all six games are available online for convenient printing and practical use. Each game is dedicated to a specific aspect of media literacy or digital skills offering 30 cards with colourful images, texts, game descriptions, questions and tasks in child-friendly and engaging format.

Training for primary school: Cyberbullying - On a mission with Detective Shadow
The children help Detective Shadow with his investigation and become experts in uncovering cyberbullying cases themselves. During this mission, the class solves several riddles together with the Detective to find out the topic of the Training (cyberbullying) and the character responsible for the cyberbullying cases. The children have also the possibility to design their personal cyberbullying expert briefcase. At the end of this Training, they know how to take action against cyberbullying and how to stand up for others.
