Better Internet for Kids

An updated version of the lesson plan on Sextortion has been written by the Dutch helpline. The students will learn what Sextortion entails, how to deal with someone threatening them and what rights they have regarding the topic.
The students will learn to think about their own limits, their own wishes and how the respect the wishes/limits of others. At last, victim blaming is treated and how to look for help when a problem or questions arise.
The teacher will be able to use various examples and cases that showcase sextortion well.

This interactive kit enables teachers and educational staff to run 3 easy 1-hour workshops with pupils in Year 6 on the main issues in digital education at the start of secondary school:

This kit includes :

The Family Kit is a practical, interactive guide for parents to discuss with their kids the key issues of children's digital life. It is designed as a tool to support digital parenting all year round.

The guide is based on parents concerns:
My child wants to go on a social network, what should I do?
My child is stuck on his phone, how can I help?
I'm afraid my child could be cyberbullied. How can I prevent it?
What if my child consults or exchanges intimate content? How can I prevent this?
