The Digital Skills Forum aimed to stimulate and articulate various social actors and ensure broad mobilisation for the National Digital Skills Initiative e.2030 | Portugal INCoDe.2030. The National Map of Digital Training Initiatives was also presented during this forum, with more than 1,200 initiatives.
The coordinator of CNCS's Development and Innovation Department, Isabel Baptista, emphasised the importance of this awareness and multi-platform campaign, stressing that "CNCS has had and continues to need to raise awareness among the entire population, as the number of registered incidents continues to rise."
The campaign's first phase took place in May in collaboration with the public television, CIS, higher education institutions, municipalities, companies such as CTT, Metro de Lisboa, Microsoft and TAP, and the public administration.
The cross-platform awareness campaign, developed in collaboration with the High Council for Cybersecurity, aimed to reach all people, regardless of their digital skills, through media and social networks.
With an information brochure, cards with warning notices, and a series of short animated videos covering phishing, smishing, vishing, sexual blackmail, cyberbullying, online shopping, and social networks, among other things, #LerAntesClicarDepois wants to have national expression and reach people of all ages, alerting them to the dangers and threats associated with the digital world.
The CNCS and CIS invite citizens and organisations to join the mission of strengthening digital security awareness by sharing good practices.
