
The Insafe network of Safer Internet Centres never shies away from producing educational resources and content around the #Back2School campaign. We will be giving visibility to similar campaigning activities, initiatives, events organised by the Insafe network itself, with the aim to collectively amplify our dissemination efforts.
Austria
The Austrian Safer Internet Centre prepared two articles specifically for the #Back2School campaign, one focusing on when is it an appropriate time to buy your child their first smartphone, and one with a collection of helpful apps for the everyday school life of children and young people, now that a new school year has started.
Germany
The German Safer Internet Centre published two articles for the start of the school year in Germany: one is for teachers, highlighting some of the SIC materials that can be used in the classroom throughout the school year, and is available in German and in English (machine translation). The second article is aimed at parents who are considering a smartphone or smartwatch as a gift for their child for the new school year, also available in German and English (machine translation).
Greece
The Greek Safer Internet Centre has created and shared new digital educational material for students of all grade levels. The material consists of valuable tools that can be used in the classroom and for independent learning at home. Read more about it here.

Luxembourg
In order to contribute to the fight against hate speech, the BEE SECURE initiative ran the #NOHATEONLINE campaign to raise awareness during the 2022-2023 school year. You can learn more about the campaign here.
Sweden
The Swedish Safer Internet Centre (SIC) recently arranged a seminar at Almedalen Week on the isle of Gotland. In this occasion, youth participation was the key to success with high school student Huda Omar, who was also the moderator of the seminar, stating it is important to give children and youth real and concrete opportunities to be involved.
