The “Back to School 2023” edition was held at the Ministry of Education on 21 September with the aim of promoting the ePolicy process through the involvement of schools, teachers, students, parents who have experienced the document and who have promoted the conscious and virtuous use of the internet and technologies with their peers and schools.
During the event, a video spot to spread the ePolicy document among schools, teachers and parents was presented. The video spot was created with the professional support of the Giffoni Film Festival and the help of the experts from the Safer Internet Centre. The video is the first spot created by the Youth Panel as a cooperation activity between the Italian SIC and young people for the creation of communication campaigns to raise awareness among their peers, parents, and teachers.

Moreover, an unprecedented round table was then held between young people from the Youth Panel (the SIC youth consultation group) and experts from the three social platforms Google, Meta and TikTok, to debate on online safety issues that concern children and young people aged between 13 and 18.
On the afternoon of 21 September, in continuity with the morning event, the webinar "eSafety tools and practices within Generazioni Connesse project: the ePolicy and the eSafety Toolkit" was held, in collaboration with eTwinning digital platform and aimed at teachers, headmasters, youth professionals, educators.
