I am the Netizen MOOC
This interactive MOOC focuses on raising awareness of ethical, social and cyber security aspects of digital technology. The course includes a video zone for students and an education zone for teachers and lecturers. The video zone includes an introduction where explanation about the concept is given. The introduction is followed by nine thematic sections - AI, internet and law, secure password, IoT, risks to mobile apps security, secure payment, white-hat and black-hat hackers, phone´s lock screen, end-to-end encryption.

The aim of the leaflet is to draw the attention of parents to the book ON-LINE ZOO, which we offer for a free download both in the electronic text form and in the audio version. Especially during the Covid pandemic, the number of children who are active online is growing, as they spend more time at home than before and some even have distance learning there.
Methodology for the book ON-LINE ZOO
The methodology for the book ON-LINE ZOO is intended primarily for teachers at the lower level of primary schools. Each chapter corresponds to individual stories in the book that deal with nomophobia, cyberbullying, cybergrooming, online shopping and sexting.
All concepts are explained to teachers in detail here. These concepts are followed by suggestions for group activities that teachers and students can complete to better understand and experience the issue.
Worksheets for the book ON-LINE ZOO
Worksheets serve as an accompanying material for working with the book ON-LINE ZOO. These worksheets help children relax between each chapter in the book, for example, by painting, looking for differences between two pictures or by cutting them out. Regarding the topic of cybergrooming, children can portray it as a theater using paper masks.

The eight-part thriller #martyisdead, inspired by real cases of cyberbullying, won the main prize at the international festival Serial Killer for the best web series in Central and Eastern Europe.
Cyber security crossword for children
The crossword puzzle was created as an accompanying material to discussions at schools on the topic of cyber security. Children aged 10 to 12 years have the task to solve it in groups and discuss the topics with the lecturer. We have also used this resource as a recommended material for parents during the "coronavirus holidays" to go through the concepts with their children and talk about Internet safety together.
Your child and social media
The Media Council for Children and young people developed a webresource providing parents with information on the three popular platforms Roblox, TikTok and Snap Chat.
The guides include short explainervideos on each platforms and explains what parents should know, if their children wants to use the platforms or are already active users.
Furthermore, it contains a question-generator, providing parents with specific questions to encourage dialogue between child and parent. The questions where developed in collaboration with children.
Young People and Algorithms
This classroom activity aims to allow young people to reflect on their perspectives and provide them with information on the importance of understanding the underlying mechanisms behind personal recommendation algorithms. The students are presented with knowledge, dilemmas, and opinions that form the basis for discussions in the classroom. The educational material contains various exercises that serve different purposes. These exercises include plenary and floor exercises as well as board games.
