According to the latest World Health Organization’s survey on schoolchildren’s health and lifestyles, one out of six children in Lithuania is being bullied online. During the webinar “Cyberbullying: what adults need to know”, the representative of the Child Line shared how children communicate online, how adults can keep up with the digital world of children and teenagers, what are the characteristics of cyberbullying and how we can help children experiencing cyberbullying.

Participants receive a comprehensive overview of the development of artificial intelligence, learn how it is integrated into a wide range of tools and applications and have a discussion with other participants about AI in schools, the associated risks for children and young people and how to deal with them. The “Sex, diversity and porn” quiz is aimed at young people and takes a playful approach to questions that are often associated with shame. It not only teaches the safe handling of intimate images, but also provides information on what is legally permitted from what age, what is meant by transsexuality and intersexuality and what contraceptive options are available. In the feedback, young people receive further information and find out where they can get more information if they have further questions.
