As part of the #NotOnOurFeed youth contest on cyberbullying, young people were invited to share their ideas, experiences and creative perspectives on how we can make the online world a kinder and safer place. The public has voted for the winner!
We received 30 inspiring submissions, and it was clear that the participants really enjoyed the creative freedom the contest allowed.
The participants truly showcased their creativity through a wide variety of formats. Video was the most popular choice, but many young people also explored other ways to express themselves: we received several posters with striking designs, an interactive quiz, and even a fully hand-animated stop-motion creation. Together, young people showed not only their creativity but also their mastery of digital tools, delivering amazing and thought-provoking submissions.
With more than 3,600 votes cast, the public clearly enjoyed taking part in the contest and sharing their preferences. The winner, Thea, received over 580 votes for her powerful video. She was closely followed by Alessia, who shared her strong belief in kindness over hate. Adelin and Abian gathered over 300 votes for their video encouraging us to pause before sending a message, followed by Miho, Viktorija and Gabriela with their excellent podcast, The No-Bully Bunch. Michaella received over 260 votes for her video clearly explaining the steps to follow when facing cyberbullying, closely followed by Héctor and his impressive video, in which he hand-animated an online bullying scenario. Finally, Sophia-Maria received over 200 votes for her video showing the long-lasting effects of hurtful messages.

Voting results from the EU survey tool
As the winner of the contest, Thea will travel to Brussels to attend the Safer Internet Forum (SIF) on 3 December 2026, where she'll have the chance to share her message with policymakers, stakeholders, and other young people from across Europe.
A huge thank you to all the young people who took part! Your ideas, stories and creativity remind us that young people aren't just users of the online world; they're shaping it. Every submission showed that kindness, empathy and speaking up can make a real difference, and we hope you'll keep raising your voices.
