About 1,000 professionals from all over Europe took part in the event to learn more about the main online safety issues, as well as the latest trends in children and young people's uses of new technologies. Among the main topics discussed this year were the impact of social media on the cognitive development of young people; the educational challenges and online experiences of children and young people in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic; online behaviour based on gender stereotypes; information threats; and online radicalisation processes.
