Recap of the BIK+ strategy evaluation
Last month, the European Commission published the first evaluation report of the Better Internet for Kids+ (BIK+) strategy, which reviews the progress and challenges of the EU’s efforts to create a safer, more empowering digital environment for children and young people across Europe. The evaluation involved children, educators, parents, and other key stakeholders, providing valuable insights into what has worked well and where improvements are needed.
Introducing family-friendly resources
To make the key findings from this important report more accessible to a wider audience, especially families and young people, we are pleased to introduce two new family-friendly resources: an infographic and a booklet. These tools break down the evaluation’s main points into clear, easy-to-understand formats, helping parents, children, and teachers engage with the results and better understand the strategy’s impact.
