Join us for the 18th international conference on “Keeping children and young people safe online”

The biggest conference in Poland on online threats and safety will take place on 24-27 September 2024. Experts from all over Europe will gather to discuss a wide range of issues related to the safety of children and young people online.

This year's conference will feature sessions on topics such as vulnerable groups online, the publication of children's images on the internet, AI and digital sexual violence, the impact of modern technology on children's lives, cyberbullying, and the use of smartphones in schools. The event is aimed at representatives from the education sector, non-governmental organisations, public administrators, the Internet industry, and professionals working with children.

This year’s conference will adopt a hybrid format. The plenary sessions will be held on 24 and 25 September in Warsaw at the Focus Hotel Premium. Participants can attend the event in person or online, as all sessions will be streamed online. Presentations during the first two days (24-25 September) will be available in English, Polish, and Polish sign language. Additionally, online workshop sessions will be held on 26 and 27 September and will be held in Polish only.

Participation in the conference is free of charge. Interested individuals are invited to complete the online registration form to attend the plenary sessions in Warsaw or online. The conference is organised by the Polish Safer Internet Centre, which includes the NASK National Research Institute and the Empowering Children Foundation. It is organised in the framework of the European Commission's Digital Europe programme. The event is co-funded by the Justice Fund, which is managed by the Polish Minister of Justice. The main partner of the conference is the Orange Foundation.
