The book "Guardians on the internet" is for children aged nine and over. Through an entertaining narration accompanied by three main characters, the book explains complex areas such as cyberbullying, social networks, sharing content on the internet, dating or playing games. Thought the book mostly covers technical issues, several chapters are devoted to, for example, digital well-being or artificial intelligence.
Within 125 chapters stylised in a comic and social network environment, children not only get information about basic security topics, but also learn to solve serious situations they may get into. The book can also be a great tool for parents who do not know how to navigate these themes and talk about them with their children.
The book is in the final editorial stage and peer review by the national CSIRT team and will go to press at the beginning of March.
