The ""Ungar & medier 2023"" report, published by Statens medieråd, is an  extensive statistical investigation into the media habits and attitudes of children and young people aged 9–18. The report  presents analyses of self-assessed responses from children and young people aged 9–18 years, based on a survey collection in the autumn/winter of 2022. The results sometimes apply to the entire age range 9–18 years, sometimes they are distributed across the age groups 9–12 years, 13–16 years and 17–18 years.

The ""Småungar & medier 2023"",  published by Statens medieråd,  presents a statistical investigation into the media usage of children aged 0-8 years in Sweden, based on questionnaires completed by their guardians in autumn 2022.

Föräldrar & medier 2023"" investigates Swedish parents' perceptions of media and their children's (0-18 years) media use, highlighting discrepancies between parental and child views on digital lives. Key findings include increased parental scepticism towards social media, seen as time-consuming and potentially harmful, and a decline in belief that games teach good things. Parents express high worry about online sexual contact, bullying, and media addiction, though actual occurrences are reported less frequently.

This report by Safe.si (2023) investigates the impact of online pornography on Slovenian teenagers, based on an anonymous online survey conducted from February to April 2023. Key findings show that 44% of primary school and 62% of high school students have viewed online pornography, with significantly higher rates among boys. Most first encountered it between 12-14 years old, though over a third were 9-11. Girls reported more negative initial feelings than boys. Viewing frequency increases with age and is higher for boys.

The Safe.si 2024 survey, conducted in February 2024 for Safer Internet Day, reveals a significant increase in online violence among Slovenian teenagers. 65% of primary school girls and 55% of primary school boys aged 12-15 have experienced at least one form of online violence, marking an increase from 2018 levels. Online violence is also spreading to younger teens, with primary school students now experiencing it as frequently as high school students.

This report presents a summary of the initial findings from the International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS 2023), coordinated in Slovenia by the Pedagogical Institute. ICILs assesses the computer and information literacy (CIL) and computational thinking (CT) skills of eighth-grade students, and gathers  contextual data from schools, teachers, and students.

Key findings show that young people spend an average of 4.4 hours daily on the internet during weekdays and 5.1 hours on weekends, primarily for social networking and communication. The study aimed to map and analyse free time usage, specifically modern communication technologies, and assess the prevalence of legal and illegal drug use among students. Key findings indicate a shift towards active engagement in leisure, primarily through hobbies, rather than just rest, though self-education is declining.
