Cybersecurity Quiz for Children
We prepared a cybersecurity quiz for the kids. We made it interactive through Kahoot. We recommend it because the children can see the questions on the projector and answer them on their own devices. After every single question the children and the quizmaster discuss the right answer. The children are explained why they should chose that actual answer and what it actually means.
Cyberactivity
Each team has a deck of 14 cards. From these, the children draw cards, looking at what concept is on them, so that the mentor does not know what they have drawn. The aim is for the children to collectively tell their mentor what they have drawn and the mentor has to guess the concept. These could be words, concepts, platform names, word associations, anything related to safe internet use.
Talking game (Talk show)
The teams have to discuss questions and topics on the screen with the help of their mentor. There are 4+1 topics in total, with a minimum of 5-5 minutes for each topic.
Answers can be submitted anonymously online via the ahaslides.com website, with the help of mentors, and will be displayed on a projector for all teams to see. Multiple comments can be submitted on a topic. At the end of the discussion, after each topic has been discussed, one participant/mentor from each team will be given the opportunity to summarise the discussion.
Be Internet Awesome - Family Guide
In 2021 an agreement had been concluded by Google and International Children’s Safety Services (abbr. ICSS). Google had a Programme called ‘Be Internet Awesome’ (abbr. BIA) thanks to ICSS which is now available in Hungarian as well. BIA’s main goal is to educate online safety in Hungarian schools in order to reduce internet abuse and raise awareness to the importance of safer online presence. As part of the Programme, BIA will help teachers, children and parents to be more conscious, responsible online citizens.
Within framework of this Programme there a Family Guide.
