‘Fight Fakes’ is an interactive swipe game for students from upper secondary school onwards. In various quizzes, they learn how to recognise fake news and deepfakes in a playful way and train their gut feeling for evaluating online content.

The game offers a total of 18 quizzes and covers six different topics: health, animals, geography, art, profile pictures and technology history. Each category comprises three progressive skill levels: EASY, PRO and PRO EXTREME. This makes ‘Fight Fakes’ suitable for many school subjects and for students with different skill levels.

In May 2025, the printed version of the leaflet was sent to all Slovenian secondary schools for further distribution among students. The goal is to reach as many young people as possible. An adapted version of the leaflet is therefore also available online as a PDF, and can be downloaded easily and free of charge. The leaflet was also promoted through social networking sites, such as Facebook and Instagram.

Artificial intelligence can be wrong, and the mistakes it makes can sometimes be difficult to detect, especially if you are not an expert in the field.

Teenagers have quickly adopted generative artificial intelligence. They most commonly use ChatGPT, MyAI (Snapchat), Copilot, and Gemini. However, alongside the benefits, the use of AI also brings numerous risks for young people. To raise awareness among parents and caregivers, the Slovenian Safer Internet Centre prepared this leaflet as a brief guide to the risks of artificial intelligence for teenagers.
