The framework was developed by the UKCCIS Education Working Group led by SWGfL and colleagues from the UK Safer Internet Centre playing a significant role in writing the document. The framework maps out the skills and competences that children and young people should have at different ages and stages in order to be able to navigate the online world as safely as possible, and perhaps more importantly, to know what to do when things go wrong.

The Say No! film. It is a short film (10 minutes) based on a composite of real events developed by Europol. The film depicts the story of two teenagers, Anna and George, who become victims of online sexual coercion and exploitation. It explores the ways in which offenders may try to approach young people online and gain their trust in order to get sexual photos or videos of them. The film highlights the two main motivations offenders have for targeting a minor: sexual interest and/or economic interest.

The new generation has invested digital social networks as the previous ones have taken a passion for film or television. Unlike their parents, young people have adopted the new communication tools by bringing them into the domestic sphere, sometimes far from the eyes of adults, by developing ways to be together that surprise.
This tool is designed in two parts. The first proposes a synthetic vision of essential questions accompanied by educational activities to do with young people. It is followed by chapters to deepen the theme.
