The National Commission for the Promotion of the Rights and Protection of Children and Adolescents, in collaboration with the Council of Europe, has translated into Portuguese a booklet produced by this international organisation in child-friendly language, which contains guidelines for respecting, protecting and fulfilling the rights of the child in the digital environment, and is presented to children and adolescents up to the age of 18.
The booklet was originally published in English, in 2020. The preparation of the Portuguese version, entitled "Your rights in the digital environment", involved several members of the National Council for children and adolescents, who were consulted for the finalisation of the document, to ensure that the communication of the message is done in an effective and appropriate way to children and adolescents.
