Online violence and cyberbullying in the digital environment

This is a presentation for teenagers and adults that explores how violence manifests itself in the digital environment.

The presentation focuses on the different ways harmful behaviours appear online and how they affect individuals, relationships, and communities. Special emphasis is placed on: cyberbullying, hate speech, online harassment, and online sexual exploitation and sextortion.

The presentation explains how these forms of online violence develop, why they spread so easily in digital spaces, and what psychological, social, and legal consequences they may have.

It also aims to raise awareness, strengthen digital resilience, and provide practical guidance on prevention, reporting mechanisms, and support systems empowering both young people and adults to recognise, prevent, and respond effectively to online abuse.
