Haptic models for the book ON-LINE ZOO are mainly used by visually impaired and blind children, so that they can see the characters from the book and imagine them better. The models were designed by Prusa Research according to the illustrations in the book. It tried to preserve the distinctive drawing style of Achmed Abdel-Salam, who artistically rendered the book. This resulted in a total of 7 characters that relate to individual stories from the book, namely the director of the zoo, a monkey, a panda, an antelope, a lion, a giraffe and a penguin. The models are freely downloadable in the www.printables.com database in .stl format, which is intended for printing on a 3D printer.
