During the video conference, participants were invited to discuss and ask questions about intellectual property: patents, trademarks, design and copyright, protection requirements. Students were involved in the creative process and were encouraged to create a short narrative that responded to the issues and content of intellectual property. During the task it was clarified what is needed to make possible actions transparent and legal. Together with the participants, it was concluded that in order to prevent online theft and misappropriation of other created products - movies, music, photos, books, etc. - we need to make sure that the products we use are legal, that they need to be bought, and or that they are allowed to be used for free. It is important that we respect and indicate the authorship of products created by others and that we comply with all citation and publication requirements.
