PT SIC provides in Portuguese a didactic resource with the theme: Digitalization and Climate. Environmental awareness in the digital world.
It is clear that we as humans have an impact on the climate, especially through the intensive use of streaming services, online shopping, video conferencing and other energy-intensive digital developments. It is therefore important that young people are aware of their role and are able to reflect and adapt their own actions. However, this requires certain social framework conditions that encourage companies, organisations and regional entities to make their contribution to climate protection. One of the goals should be the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals
The topics of environmental awareness and digitalisation can be addressed in different ways in class or with groups of young people, and everyone can make a different contribution to a more sustainable way of living:
