Board Game - Let's Discover the Digital World

The Directorate-General for Education, through the SeguraNet Awareness Centre, produced a board game "Let's Discover the Digital World" aimed at Primary Education that promotes Digital Citizenship.
The game "Let's Discover the Digital World" includes 30 challenge proposals and 156 questions that aim to stimulate students' critical thinking, with the support of the SeguraNet mascots: Pisca and Luzinha.
This educational resource was developed with the participation of ICT Competence Centers specialist teachers. It had as consultants specialists from Higher Education, from Safer Internet Center and from Council of Europe
This board game was sent to all Portuguese Primary schools, 4000 schools, (including Portuguese schools abroad and autonomous regions of Madeira and the Azores schools).
This educational resource was developed to support Primary Education teachers in promoting Digital Citizenship. In Portugal, the domain of Digital Citizenship is integrated into the School Curriculum through the Curriculum Guidelines for ICT and through the National Education Strategy for Citizenship.
