The Digital Citizenship manual is designed for educators and includes 30 student-friendly prompts covering digital skills, media literacy, and digital technologies. It offers practical classroom methods, including reading strategies, discussion techniques, and activities that strengthen students’ text comprehension. Aimed at learners aged 13–17, the handbook supports a deeper understanding of online safety, critical thinking, digital footprints, privacy, digital well-being, and other key elements of digital citizenship.
This manual is the third part of the “Be Internet Awesome” programme.
The manual was developed by the 'Szkoła z Klasą' Foundation within the framework of the 'Be Internet Awesome!' programme in cooperation with Google. The publication was adapted into Latvian by the Latvian Safer Internet Centre.
