Reality checks can be carried out in 3 different ways:

BIK Youth Ambassadors

Throughout the year, BIK Youth Ambassadors are given opportunities for participation, ranging from invitations to participate in (online) events and campaigns organised by the BIK Team or third parties from the public or private sector.

Safer Internet Forum Youth Advisory Group (SIF YAG)

The SIF Youth Advisory Group consist of 10 BIK Youth Ambassadors that have shown active participation at national and European level since becoming an ambassador.

Each year, a new SIF Youth Advisory Group is formed, requirements for the selection process primarily but not exclusively include gender, age, and geographical balance between participants.
The selection of the SIF Youth Advisory Group is made by BIK coordination team in consultation with the respective national SIC youth coordinator.
