Better Internet for Kids

Is your child being approached by a person who seems to have bad intentions? This is what you can do: 

• Try to talk calmly and openly with your child. Continue to support your child and offer a sympathetic ear and help. By coming to you about this, your child is showing courage and intelligence.
• Don't condemn your child. Someone else has behaved in a punishable way; your child is not guilty.
• Gather all the evidence you can (pictures, discussions). You can take screenshots of the discussions. You can use them later if you want to make a complaint to the police.
• You can lodge a complaint with the police.
• Report the profile on the social network and block the person.
