In December, Child Focus (part of the Belgian Safer Internet Centre) is launching a unique prevention calendar: 24 short video tips for parents who want their children to grow up safe, strong, and confident online.
A new tip every day
From 1 to 24 December 2025, Child Focus is sharing a short video every day on their Facebook and Instagram account, including a practical tip to help parents and caregivers guide their children positively and safely in the online world.
In the digital world, children and young people explore: they learn, play, and make friends, just like on the playground. But what happens online is often less visible to parents and guardians. With this calendar, the Belgian Safer Internet Centre aims to provide practical tools to help families stand stronger together online.
What will parents and caregivers discover in the advent calendar?
With these tips, parents will learn how to:
- choose child-friendly content
- teach privacy and safe choices
- strengthen communication and trust with their children
- manage screen time in a balanced way.
