The resource "CornHub ≠ Reality" won the October 2025 Insafe-INHOPE Training meeting resource competition. The winning Luxembourgish Safer Internet Centre was awarded a grant to adapt the resource for the benefit of the Insafe network.
The Safer Internet Centre in Luxembourg launched the campaign “CornHub ≠ Reality” to raise awareness about how online pornography distorts reality and promotes unrealistic ideas about sex, bodies, and relationships.
Pornographic content is widespread on the internet and just a few clicks away. Young people often come across it at an early age, which can shape how they view sexuality, gender roles, and relationships.
After raising awareness about the dangers of deepfakes and AI-generated disinformation at the end of 2024, BEE SECURE tackles another important topic in 2025: with its campaign “CornHub ≠ Reality”, the initiative highlights how online pornography gives a distorted view of reality.
Originally available in English and Luxembourgish, the resource is now avaialble in French, German, Italian, and Spanish thans to the grant awarded for winning the Insafe Training meeting resource competition.
