Child Focus launches ‘CyberSquad’ workshop for teachers

The workshop offers help to teachers who want to teach young people how to find and use online support. In the package, young people learn how to ask for help and to help others.

Child Focus has developed a new and enriching curriculum to make CyberSquad more familiar to young people. This workshop is specially designed for teachers who want to support young people in the online world.

Their mission is to reassure young people and show them that they are not alone. CyberSquad is not only there to ask for help, it is also a place to help each other. There are also coaches from Child Focus who are there for them.

What can teachers expect from the workshop?

Young people actively engage with the concepts of help and suffering. They learn to empathise with the experiences of others while discovering the CyberSquad platform. An important goal of the workshop is that they feel free to talk about their own problems and learn how to both ask for and offer help to others.

The workshop is available individually, or in a package with CyberSquad materials, to make the platform known at school.

The package is completely free. Users only pay for the shipping costs, so Child Focus encourages interested parties to order several packages at once.

Download the workshop here: in Dutch or in French.

Teachers who are interested can order the package here.
