The Recommendation consists of several key sections, including principles for ensuring a safe and beneficial digital environment for children, recommendations to governments regarding their overarching policy framework, guidelines for Digital Service Providers, and promoting international cooperation. 

This report informs the OECD’s broader work on children in the digital environment by examining these trends and presenting an updated Typology of Risks. The Typology provides a high level overview of the risk landscape, and outlines four risk categories and their manifestations. The Typology also identifies and analyses risks that cut across these four risk categories, and that can therefore have wide-ranging effects on children’s lives.

Emphasising a "constructively critical" approach and human-AI co-activity, the document outlines a unified national strategy for the use of AI tools while mitigating risks.

Formulated by the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth through the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute, the policy emphasises a human-centered approach to digital learning. The Cybersecurity Strategy Belgium 2.0 outlines Belgium's national framework to enhance cyber resilience. Overseen by the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB), the strategy puts forward a whole-of-society approach focused on securing critical national infrastructure, protecting citizens and businesses from cyber threats, and strengthening response capabilities. It prioritises cross-sector collaboration among public authorities, the private sector, and academia, as well as active engagement with international cyber defence frameworks.

The Action Plan for the Development of Culture and Media until 2027 operationalises the National Plan for the Development of Culture and Media (2023–2027). The plan focuses on enhancing artistic creation, preserving cultural heritage, developing archives and libraries, improving media pluralism and journalist protection, and strengthening institutional governance.

It serves as an interactive practical guide for decision-makers, youth workers, and public administrations to design, implement, and evaluate effective participation processes. Grounded in democratic rights, the guidelines outline core conditions for success, ranging from early involvement and transparent communication to dedicated resources and visible impact.

This official advice document (Advies 2024-2025/12) from the Children's Rights Commissioner (Kinderrechtencommissariaat) urges European, federal, and Flemish authorities to actively safeguard children's rights online. It calls for strict regulations forcing tech platforms to implement "child-safe by design" principles, gradual age-based access, and the removal of addictive algorithms. Applying the precautionary principle, the document highlights risks such as cyberbullying, data exploitation, and exposure to harmful content.

This policy document presents 11 targeted recommendations to safeguard children and young people in digital environments and foster healthier online habits. Formulated through a multi-stakeholder alliance, it advocates for systemic measures against big tech commercial exploitation alongside community-based protections.
