The “Estrategia de Erradicación de la Violencia contra la Infancia y Adolescencia” (2023–2030) (EEVIA) is a national plan aimed at eliminating all forms of violence against children and adolescents. Its primary goals are to strengthen the prevention of violence through coordinated efforts among public administrations and stakeholders, improve detection and early intervention using an integrated and multidisciplinary approach, and increase the visibility of violence against minors to better understand its scope.
Additionally, the strategy seeks to promote a culture of zero tolerance for violence and positive treatment of children, and to ensure the creation of protective environments for all minors without discrimination. The plan provides a clear framework for monitoring progress with measurable objectives and targets, guiding the actions of all relevant actors in preventing, detecting, and responding to violence against children and adolescents.
Aligned with Spain’s child protection law (LOPIVI), the strategy is implemented through operational plans over the 2023–2030 period, aiming to guarantee the rights and well-being of all children and adolescents in Spain.
