The National Plan for Children's Rights for the period from 2022 to 2026 continues to create and implement policies to improve children's rights. The national plan includes the public policies of other sectors that are in close interaction with children's rights and determines the key goals and mechanisms for the implementation of the set strategic goals. It is adopted with the purpose of further promoting children's rights and improving the protection of children's rights in the Republic of Croatia, through the implementation of international and national standards in the field of children's rights, through a comprehensive and integrative approach to children's rights.
The National Plan is aligned with the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Croatia until 2030 as the hierarchically highest act of strategic planning, i.e. shaping and implementing the development policies of the Republic of Croatia. Development direction 1. Sustainable economy and society is important for the creation of this National Plan. Strategic goal 3. Effective and efficient judiciary, public administration and management of state property and Development direction 2. Strengthening resistance to crises, Strategic goal 5. Healthy, active and quality life.
