The National Digitalisation Strategy 2022-2030 was adopted by the Government of Hungary to guide the country’s digital transformation over the period from 2022 to 2030. The strategy focuses on four main aims related to Hungarian citizens, including developments for youth: digital infrastructure development, including schools and higher education institutions; support for the development of digital competences in education; digital economy including boosting the digital readiness of businesses; digital state incorporating the development of user-friendly digital public services. The National Digitalisation Strategy is aligned with the EU’s ‘Digital Decade’ policy programme, which outlines goals for the digital transformation of businesses, public services, and digital infrastructure by 2030.
