Estonia’s Digital Agenda 2030

Title (original language): Eesti digiühiskond 2030

Estonia’s Digital Agenda 2030 includes a vision and an action plan concerning the development of the Estonian economy, state and society with the help of digital technology in the next decade.

Estonia’s Digital Agenda 2030 places strong emphasis on ensuring children are equipped to thrive in the digital environment, both in and out of school. The Agenda supports equal access to digital learning resources, high-speed internet, and modern technologies for all children, regardless of where they live. The strategy also addresses digital inclusion, aiming to close any gaps in access or ability, and to ensure digital solutions are accessible and user-friendly for children with different needs.

Cybersecurity and safe online behavior are key components: children are taught to protect their privacy and navigate risks in the digital world. Estonia’s approach involves not just schools, but also families and the wider community, so children can use digital technology confidently, creatively, and safely as part of everyday life.
