Digital education: Strategic framework for the development of digital education

Title (original language): Digitální vzdělávání Strategický rámec pro rozvoj digitálního vzdělávání

The national strategic plan for digital education under the Digital Czechia Strategy lays out the newly established approach to digital education, including a strong focus on digital skills development, cybersecurity and safe internet use. The document aligns with EU priorities, such as the Digital Decade 2030, aiming for at least 80% of the population to have basic digital skills and 20 million ICT specialists, with a focus on increasing women’s participation in ICT. Key measures include modernizing curricula, expanding teacher training, improving digital infrastructure in schools, promoting adult education, and supporting safe and healthy technology use.
