Cineáltas: Action Plan on Bullying is Ireland’s national strategy to prevent and address bullying in schools through a whole-education approach that promotes wellbeing, inclusion and student participation across all schools. The action plan provides a collective vision and clear roadmap for how the whole education community and society can work together to prevent and address bullying in Irish schools. The plan builds on the achievements and ambition of the previous Action Plan on Bullying 2013 and on the work undertaken in recent years to ensure that schools are safe and happy places for all children and young people. An Implementation and Evaluation Group has been established to oversee implementation of the actions contained in Cineáltas.
