Child Rights Impact Assessment (CRIA)

The Child Rights Impact Assessment (CRIA) is a tool developed by  by Considerati and Leiden University on behalf of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK). The tool provides a structured assessment tool for companies and public bodies to evaluate how their digital products or services may impact children’s rights, helping to anticipate risks and design mitigations. The resource is part of a broader toolbox, alongside a planned “Children’s Rights Seal”, which is targeted at strengthening the protection of children in the digital domain.
