Amendments to the Information Society Services Law

Title (original language): Grozījumi Informācijas sabiedrības pakalpojumu likumā, lai īstenotu Digitālo pakalpojumu regulu

The Amendments to the Information Society Services Law was adopted on 23 May 2024 to implement the Digital Services Act in Latvia. The amendment adds provisions to the Information Society Services Law designating the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) as Latvia's Digital Services Coordinator and establishing the national framework for enforcing the EU Digital Services Act, including monitoring, compliance, and penalties.
