Better Internet for Kids

Through the in-depth analysis of some cases and good practices, the webinar discuss in particular the e-Safety tools developed within the Generazioni Connesse project: the e-Policy and the Educational Kit.

The video has been produced in Procida by the Italian youth panel with the support of the Giffoni Film Festival. The video explains the relevance of the e-policy process for all schools from the youth's point of view.

"New Alphabets to combat inequalities" is the title of the debate that involved institutions, companies and schools as protagonists at the Ministry of Education on Wednesday 1 December 2021 at the Ministry of Education. Promoted by Save the Children in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, as part of the Safer Internet Center - Generazioni Connesse project, the aim was to encourage a discussion on how to do digital education today in the dialogue between experts, schools and young people .

A web series by the Italian Safer Internet Centre. Each episode focuses on a different element of online safety, from strategies for handling cyberbullying to recognising and reporting unsafe/inappropriate interactions and content (e.g zoombombing, body shaming, sexting, and so on).

The main purpose of the "Italian National Guidelines for schools and private sector on Child Online Protection" is to provide guiding principles to be followed for the implementation of initiatives in schools aimed at promoting a positive and conscious use of digital technologies as well as at preventing and combating the online risks.
These principles are intended to represent minimum quality standards to be observed by public and private actors who carry out initiatives in schools with the purpose to increase the quality and traceability of the interventions.
